Community Clean Up Days
Town of Hamilton Community Clean Up Day (10/12/2024)
The Town of Hamilton will be hosting a Community Clean Up Day:
Saturday, October 12, 2024
8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
At the Town Highway Garage on Cranston Road ()(Next to the Hamilton Transfer Station)
Open to Town of Hamilton Residents Only, No Businesses.
Most items are free, but there is a charge for the following (***Information subject to change.***)
(Cash or Check Only. No punch cards.)
- Propane Tanks = $5.00 each
- Air conditioners and Dehumidifiers = $20.00 each
- Refrigerators and Freezers = $20.00 each
Following items WILL BE accepted at Clean Up Days at no charge:
- Tires-limit 4 per household. (Passenger Vehicle Only, No oversized truck tires, No tractor tires)
- Televisions
- Computer Monitors
- Electronics
- Auto Batteries
Following items will NOT be accepted at Clean Up Days (see Madison County Solid Waste website for more information at www.madisoncounty.ny.gov):
- Oil/Chemicals/Household Hazardous Waste
- Asbestos Containing Materials
- Sharps/Medical Waste
- Hot Ashes/Ammunition/Explosives
Following items will NOT be accepted at Clean Up Days, but may be dropped off at no charge to Hamilton Transfer Station:
- Batteries (Household Only)
- Trees/Brush/Yard Waste
